We will leave Morocco’s cultural medina towards the Merzouga desert following a picturesque route. You will discover the charm of the Middle Atlas mountains, via Ifrane and Azrou where you will discover the largest cedar forest in Morocco. You also discover monkeys in this forest. Lunch in a restaurant in Midelt then we continue our journey to Erfoud designed for these fossils. We will dive in the sand dunes, and you will take an unforgettable camel trek in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You enjoy the sunset and spend the night in a traditional desert camp, immersed in the magic of the Sahara. Traditional dinner. Sleep in Berber tents.
Day 6: Exploration of Merzouga
The day is dedicated to discovering Merzouga and its surroundings. Optional activities include a visit to the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music, or a 4×4 excursion to discover hidden oases and nomadic settlements.
