Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Your 6-day adventure begins in Marrakech, where you will be greeted by your guide. The journey begins with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains, passing the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Your first major stop is UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a historic kasbah that transports you back in time. Continuing, you will reach Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”, where you can explore the Atlas film studios and the ancient kasbah of Taourirt. The evening ends with a relaxing stay in a local riad.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora
The second day takes you further into the desert crossing the Draa Valley, a picturesque region known for its lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs. The trip will introduce you to the charming town of Zagora, where you will have the opportunity to explore local markets and soak up the tranquil desert atmosphere.
